Even after about one year, the toast would occasionally not stay down, but now, after about 18 months, the toaster will not work. Called Sunbeam, who owns Oster, and they said sorry, nothing we can do, you are outside the warranty.

So, for these reasons, I cannot recommend this product, or other products by Oster.
